FAM Shifting Heads

Sustainable development of the belt conveying technology has resulted in current domination of continuously operating conveying and handling systems.

FAM shifting heads are specially developed components of the belt conveyors for a flexible and economical arrangement of the conveying routes in open pit mines or stockyards.

The targeted transfer point formed by shifting heads links numerous opencast mine conveyors in a system, in which all incoming material flows arriving from overburden and mineral extraction areas as well as outgoing mineral conveying and overburden disposal processes can be efficiently controlled.

In stockyard facilities, the shifting heads provide such transfer options, which enable material quality selected handling. The main reason for this is often the origin of the raw materials, which arrive from the most diverse deposits all over the globe.
